My name is Kimberly Morgan. I am a born and raised Southern girl, in my early 30′s, who grew up in the deep south of Mississippi. I now live with my beautiful son and handsome husband in Utah.
This blog was born about the same time my son was. I have prided myself in being a career woman most of my short life. I have had a full time job since I was 14 years old, and truly excelled in the work world. I knew that being a mother was in my future, and was just as certain that I would be a stay at home mom. I never knew, however, the challenges and triumphs that would come with that role.
In the years since leaving a career based life and becoming the CEO of my family, I have not only overcome the challenges, but I have found that I am truly passionate about what I do. I love to meal plan, to save money, to organize and clean. I love learning new things about healthy nutrition for my family, and ways to inexpensively decorate my home. I have discovered a wealth of information on ways to not only be a great stay-at-home mother, but on ways to truly thrive in that job!
This blog started out as a way to help others save money and find good freebies and it has grown (and is still growing) into a site that offers tips and ideas to run your household more smoothly and become a true CEO of your home as well!
In February of 2011 my husband and I were chosen as one of the five finalists of Live with Regis and Kelly’s search for the world’s greatest love story! It was an amazing experience, and we have a really incredible story. Watch the video below to see more!
Welcome to Homemaking Expert! This site was created about three years ago as I was becoming a homemaker myself. Coming from the corporate world, I found that if I ran my household like I would an office things ran much more smoothly and there was more time for fun! This site is so that I can share with others mine and other homemakers' tips to help you become the CEO of your household!
